WOW!!! I learned about so many new sites and new opportunities for information that I was unaware of. The composing of a blog turned out to be a lot of fun. I really liked reading about all of the possibilities that the Internet can provide beyond google!

I created an account on netlibrary just so I could explore the site fully. But I do not own a mp3 player and I doubt that netlibrary is something that I would personally use. I am glad that I did familiarize myself with the site so that I could pass the info from the site on to others.

I liked the podcast alley site. I am also very proud of my attemplet at a podcast. My husband was interviewed for a podcast last year by a publication about the Florida Strawberry Festival.

I absolutely LOVE youtube.com! I have a son who is a filmmaker and he has several of his mini-movies on the site. I also enjoy watching music videos. I will search for baton twirling ideas also on youtube. I like to pick up new ideas for twirling techniques to teach my corp of baton twirlers. I personally have never uploaded a video to youtube, but I would like to experiment in the future and maybe upload a video of my group: The Temple Terrace Twirlers for all of the world to see!

For this assignment of Web 2.0 Sites…I went to the social network of face book. My sons have their own accounts and I have recently opened my own account as well. I have to be honest and say that I just do not think that I as a big fan. I just don’t seem to have the time or the desire right now to connect with people from high school or beyond. Maybe once things slow down a little, this would be something that I would enjoy.

I thought that I was familiar with word processing, but my only exposure was with Microsoft word and MS works. I really like the variation of ZOHO writer. That will be fun to experiment with the different possibilities that that site offers. I like the fact that you could access your files easily and from anywhere. I would imagine that this is a must for business people that travel extensively.

I was a little confused with this next task. I signed up with Pbwiki. I already was registered because that was the same site that I worked on with the classmate that I mentioned in the previous post. However, when I went to favorite restaurants, I got restaurants lactated in Texas. I will try to figure out how toi find favorite Tampa places…..
